Route 50 Veterinary Care is a team of caring individuals who are passionate about providing high quality medical care to your furry family members. Our mixed-animal practice embraces both traditional medicine and alternative therapies to take care of each pet as if it were our own.

Brittany Erbe

Dr Brittany grew up east of Cleveland, OH. She moved to the area in 2012 after attending undergrad at the University of Findlay and veterinary school at Michigan State University. Dr Brittany's passion lies in surgery (especially spay neuter!) and chiropractic/alternative care. She opened the practice with the goal to bring high quality care to rural areas, and is proud of the hard work that her team puts in daily. In her spare time, she enjoys working on her farm, spending time with her family, backpacking, camping, and kayaking.

Nicole Holden

Nicole is a California native, but has lived in Brown County most of her life. She joined the team in 2023 after retiring from human med, and has been invaluable in management of daily operations. When she's not on the clock, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, and trying to invent new ways to get more dachshunds.

Grace Wright

Grace obtained her Registered Veterinary Technician license from the University of Cincinnati in 2022. When she isnt helping out at the clinic she enjoys spending time on her farm, going to concerts specifically rock festivals and cuddling her cats.

Kendra Hall

Kendra has been in the veterinary field for over a decade, and has been a valuable member of the team here since 2018. She is passionate about rescue and spay/neuter, and often fosters medical and hard to place pets. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her three boys on their farm in Sardinia.

Emily Battista

Emily grew up in New Richmond and has worked with Dr Erbe since 2015. She joined the Route 50 team in 2023, and is a skilled veterinary assistant. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her daughter and husband, and their three dogs.

Adam Oaks

Adam is originally from Denver, Colorado. He joined the team in 2019 and acts as a veterinary assistant and chiropractic service coordinator. In his spare time he owns a candle business, and enjoys spending time with his farm animals and his family.

Amanda Heyne

Amanda is originally from Pike County, Ohio. She has been part of our team almost 2 years. Outside of work she enjoys her dobermans, Thor and Lorelei, and nature.

Marti Martin

Marti joined the clinic in 2019 after retiring from the county. She now resides in Hillsboro with her husband, Kevin, and her nine dogs. In her spare time she enjoys life on her farm and spending time with her family.

Carla Erbe

Carla is Dr Brittany's mom, and has been a part of the clinic since it opened in 2014. Carla handles chiropractic scheduling and bookkeeping for the office, and can frequently be found at the front desk manning the phones. In her spare time she enjoys art, nature, and spending time with her grandkids.
